Because our processing facility is only a few hundred metres from the Flemish Fish Auction, we can move very quickly. We buy in the morning, then process and pack later the same day.
We vacuum-pack all fish, which at least doubles its shelf life—always kept chilled, of course. The cold chain is essentially never broken, because our workshops and packing area are refrigerated as well.
On top of that, we work with DPD Fresh, which transports everything in a chilled environment.

Delivery is handled by DPD Fresh. You’ll receive an email from them in advance with all instructions and any available contact options.
About one hour before delivery, they will contact you to let you know your order is on its way.

Service fee
For orders under €65, we have to charge a €20 service fee.
This drops to €5 if you spend between €65 and €100.From €100 onwards, the service fee is completely waived.

Once the fish is out of the vacuum packaging, we recommend doing the following:

For fillets and loins: wipe them clean with a damp cloth. Do not rinse directly under the tap, as this causes a big loss in quality. Use as little water as possible. Make sure to dry the fillets well with kitchen paper or a clean cloth.

For ready-to-cook whole fish (panklaar): gently rinse the belly cavity a little, then pat dry with some kitchen paper.
